Aeterna Noctis
A game of the metroidvania type, made in the convention of an action platformer. In Aeterna Noctis we play the role of the King of Darkness, who travels the eponymous land, trying to regain his former power and defeat his eternal rival - the Queen of Light.
Aeterna Noctis takes us on a journey to the fantastic world of Aeterna, created by the supreme god called Chaos. When this land became the arena of war between its two rulers, Chaos cast a terrible curse on them and made them immortal. From then on, the King of Darkness and the Queen of Light are doomed to an eternal struggle. During the game, we play the role of the King of Darkness, and our task is to regain his power and make one more attempt to finally defeat the eternal rival.

In Aeterna Noctis, the action is shown from the side. The game consists of sixteen levels. These diverse and extensive stages are linked together, creating something like a great maze, which allows us to visit them in any order. In addition, there are always several paths to reach your destination. While traversing locations, we jump on platforms and avoid various traps, as well as solve occasional environmental puzzles. In addition, our way is often faced by opponents with whom the King of Darkness deals with hand-to-hand combat or using magic. In addition to the rank and file enemies, we often have to face bosses, defeating them requires careful observation of their movements and finding their weak points. The gameplay is dynamic, thanks in no small part to the refined and responsive controls that are the apple of the authors' eye.

As we progress, we develop the protagonist and unlock new skills related to close combat, magic attacks and the art of survival. This is important because the difficulty level of the game increases over time, so we can never feel too confident in the land of Aeterna.
